On the afternoon of March 8, 2019, Yu Fei, Deputy Dean of the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School (chairing the work), met Chris Guthrie, Dean of Vanderbilt University School of Law, Yesha Yadav, Teacher Co-director of the LL.M. Project, and Cynthia Coleman, Admissions Director of the LL.M. Project. Xu Zheng, a graduate of the LL.M. Project of the academy and Deputy General Manager and Legal Director of Baiyin Nonferrous Group, accompanied the visit.
Deputy Dean Yu Fei warmly welcomed Dean Chris Guthrie and his party, and provided the basic information on China University of Political Science and Law and the situation of the professional setting, faculty, talent training, and international development of Civil and Commercial Economic Law School. He hopes to have multi-faceted cooperation between Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School and Vanderbilt University Law School in the future. Chris Guthrie thanked Yu Fei for his warm reception, and introduced the general situation of Vanderbilt University and the characteristics of Vanderbilt University Law School in graduate and doctoral student cultivation mode, student-faculty number, disciplines, curriculum, and fully affirmed the quality of talent training in our college. During the talks, both parties conducted a pragmatic and fruitful discussion on the content, forms and channels of cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the future, and reached a consensus. The talks ended successfully in a harmonious atmosphere.
